Baldwin Hackett & Meeks, Inc. (BHMI) is looking for an experienced disputes regulation business analyst to work primarily in the Concourse Financial Software Suite™ product group with a focus on disputes processing.  The Concourse – Disputes product allows BHMI to implement and maintain network dispute workflows for the major card association networks (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, etc.) as well as debit networks.

The ideal candidate will have three years of experience in managing card initiated electronic payment transactions and will possess experience in the following areas:

  • Strong industry knowledge of Disputes/Chargeback Processing for issuers and/or merchants
  • Experience in back office processing of electronic payment transactions with an emphasis on payments initiated via debit or credit cards
  • Experience managing dispute/chargeback regulations and mandates for card associations such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover
  • Experience with Regulation E and Regulation Z as they relate to cardholder disputes
  • Experience in accounting and settlement directly related to managing the impacts of disputes activity against cardholder, merchant, network, and general ledger accounts. 

The individual selected for this position will participate in network mandate reviews and customer workflow design sessions.  The individual will be responsible for documenting the workflow requirements needed to meet a specific effort, implement the disputes configuration to meet the requirements and test the implementation prior to turning it over to the quality assurance group where the final testing is performed prior to customer deployment.  The individual will work directly with software design engineers, software developers, project managers, quality assurance, and publications staff.  The overall objective of this position is to ensure that quality dispute plans are delivered to BHMI customers.
