Position Details:

CSG is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the team! The Financial Analyst will help to improve the financial status of the company by analyzing financial information to assist the Finance team in making well-informed decisions, reporting, and monitoring financial performance. The Financial Analyst will assist in monitoring variances, identifying trends, and analyzing results.

The ideal candidate will have 1- 3 years of experience, and have a solid understanding of data and data relationships. This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone who wishes to be part of a strong finance team that prides itself on mentorship within a people driven culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide business owners including Executive Management, Product Management, Operations and Consulting support with financial modeling, analysis and reporting
  • Identify business opportunities/risks through partnership with the business and assist with preparation of business cases to evaluate opportunities
  • Assist business owners in creating and maintaining business metrics, modeling revenue and expense to ensure the company financials are aligned, as well as participation in revenue and expense budgeting and forecasting.
  • Work with business owners to create, maintain and update financial metrics
  • Requires a collaborative and team-orientated attitude working with Finance, Accounting, Product Management, R&D, and Operations with demonstrated ability to work with various systems to compile data with high levels of accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Strong PC skills are a must including spreadsheet and database packages with Oracle Financials, Microsoft Excel, and industry standard budget and forecast applications.
  • Ability to interpret financial concepts for financial planning and control   
  • Develop effective relationships with teammates and management. Must thrive in a collaborative and cooperative environment.
  • Assumes responsibility to ensure issues/concerns will be addressed and monitors them through acceptable conclusion.
  • Strong prioritization, organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Excel to include pivot tables, V-lookups, formatting reports, and ability to execute complicated formulas
