Ameritas is seeking an experienced HR Analyst to join our Human Resources team. This professional manages all aspects of data and analytics in support of Human Resources. This includes managing data, and reporting/analytics for all core HR processes. The HR Analyst will also lead initiatives related to HR metrics. This role requires an analytic process-minded team player with a bias for action and strong attention to detail.

Essential Job Functions

* Researches, analyzes, designs and maintains information systems in support of human resource administration and enterprise human capital related projects.
* Monitors HRIS needs and partners with IT and vendors to design new or modify existing systems to meet changing requirements. Participate in the evaluation, testing, and implementation of patches and upgrades to HR Software Applications, identifying additional opportunities to more fully utilize system capabilities, and for training HR personnel on system utilization or enhancements.
* Utilizes technology to improve business processes with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
* Serve as liaison between other technical staff, management, stakeholders, end users and vendors regarding service requests, usage, industry standards, security, producing requirements, and recommending design solutions.
* This position will participate in internal and external audits and produce audit documentation and reports as necessary. May prepare and deliver HR compliance related reporting (EEO-1, Department of Labor, compliance posters, etc.).
* Prepares and delivers enterprise metrics to HR SVP and leadership team. To measure team success, report to Ameritas leaders and for the Board and Compensation Committee, prepares and delivers business specific metrics in partnership with HR Leadership and HR teammates.
* Works on special projects as assigned.


* Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, Finance, or related field required
* 1-3 years of applicable analysis and/or reporting experience for Human Resources or related field.
* Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required
* Proven consulting skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across internal teams
* Working knowledge of ADP is preferred
* Knowledge of HR policies, processes and procedures
* Knowledge of HRIS systems both data and reporting
