The Senior Analyst -- Financial Reports & Accounting drives the business by providing professional accounting and technology support through project work and continuous process improvement for the financial statement accounting activities in the organization. This position will be responsible for providing analyses of accounting transactions and financial statement preparation to identify technology solutions and provide support that will improve processes and enhance financial reporting controls.

Essential Functions

* Investigate, research, test and implement existing technology used and potential new technology processes for financial ERP.
* Background in process used to produce, analyze, and deliver financial statements and management output.
* Analyze requests for information and creating custom reports.
* Advise and make recommendations for improvement based on data analysis and interpretation.
* Educate team members on process and appropriate data analysis.
* Ensure and adhere to a consistent approach and controls are in place to maintain the financial integrity of the business area.
* Identify, collaborate, and/or solve complex issues.
* Develop structured approach to maintaining up to date process documentation to support key accounting transactions including key financial controls
* Identify technical and operational issues as it relates to own work area and resolve or escalate as needed.
* Prioritize work assignments for self, project and/or team.
* Additional duties as required.

Qualifications

* Financial ERP experience (PeopleSoft Financials preferred)
* Passion for improvement in execution with an approach that urges innovation, elimination of non-value added work, and efficiency improvements.
* 1 to 3 year's related experience to include Financial Statements and Analysis
* Bachelor's Degree required
* CPA eligible or CPA designation preferred
* Experience with analytical data tools
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Advanced Excel preferred)
