What does an outstanding Senior Test Analyst do?

You will write test plans and elicit test cases from requirements. Are you independent and a good communicator? If you are known for your collaboration and can handle disruption from frequent changes in requirements and testing timelines driven by changing needs, this could be the next step in your career! You'll update testing strategy and prioritize tests to meet client needs.

As a Senior Test Analyst, you can look forward to\:

  • Defining and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications by participating in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution for application, network, system, regression and user acceptance testing.
  • Performing testing activities to include\: planning, design, scripting, execution, debugging and reporting tasks.
  • Executing automation/performance test activities for small to medium sized projects. Works with Technical and Business community to define the scope of testing required. Post-test execution activities include error debugging, reporting and internal/external communications.
  • Developing test strategies to test web applications and API interfaces
  • Prioritizing requirements for testing
  • Writing test plans and test traceability matrices
  • Writing test cases using Jira or Rational CLM
  • Setting up test data directly in MS SQL
  • Automating testing for web applications and web API interfaces using Tosca

Basic requirements forconsideration\:

  • 4+years of related Software Testing experience.
  • High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience with information systems elements (hardware, software, network) and their application to business functions/processes.
  • Experience with automated testing tools, database concepts and MS Office.
  • Must be either Permanent Resident or a US Citizen.
