Position Details:

CSG is seeking a Workforce Analyst Sr to join our global HR team to guide our Executive leadership in making critical, impactful human capital and workforce planning decisions.

Our team is dedicated to ensuring employees are supported through their entire CSG experience. This person will be challenged to raise our analytics bar and elevate our fact-based decision-making process, and will maintain ownership and autonomy to implement effective tools/technologies needed to accomplish this goal.

Reporting to the VP of Talent Acquisition, Analytics, and Assimilation, the Workforce Analyst Sr will be responsible for the identification, development, and analysis of human capital and business metrics to assess and improve HR programs, HR service delivery, and business performance. The Workforce Analyst Sr will manage project requests ranging from unique analyses of talent data, survey results interpretation, developing dashboards, and storytelling with data. This position is responsible for providing data visualizations to business leaders across our global organization to achieve their strategic visions. This includes standardizing how workforce data is used to drive decisions and linking workforce data to business results.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze data for leadership teams
  • Identify patterns in data to proactively inform strategic decision making
  • Support change management initiatives
  • Partner with other internal data owners to obtain timely, accurate data in support of deliverables
  • The analyst works closely with other corporate functions (e.g., finance, marketing, human resources, product development) to create connections between data sets across the organization.
  • Gather and merge multiple data sets from different source systems
  • Design and deliver recurring workforce data analyses and talent dashboards that support business leaders in optimizing their talent practices
  • Leverage historical trends, internal/benchmark comparisons, and business context to provide meaningful and actionable insights in support of data-based deliverables
  • Respond timely to ad hoc requests for data or analyses as needed
  • Consult with and support end users on their interpretation and use of talent data and deliverables
  • Drafts audience-appropriate presentations or summary documents for business and HR leaders
  • Help to optimize talent processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Identify and develop analyses of human capital and related business metrics and analysis
  • Foster collaborative relationships with internal teams
  • Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional metric driven information
  • Conduct and translate data analysis and research findings into easy-to-understand visuals and actionable recommendations

Experience & Education:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in workforce analytics business intelligence and/or data analysis. Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Experience performing complex analyses and creating models
  • Experience in workforce planning and/or forecasting (i.e. scenario planning, staffing models, etc.)
  • Experience with survey data, survey administration, and/or employee listening and culture measurement collaborative spirit and diverse perspective to our organization.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools
  • Experience navigating and extracting data from HRIS systems, Workday preferred.
  • Experience extracting and analyzing data from PeopleInsight or similar workforce analytics tools.
  • Experience coordinating a variety of project tasks, such as prioritizing and planning work activities, setting appropriate deadlines, and effectively managing time and resources
  • Experience with M&A
  • BA or BS degree in Business Administration, MIS, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent work experience. 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Proficiency using MS Office products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to explain analysis and recommendations to all levels of the organization, including group presentation and facilitation
  • Ability to genuinely engage with all levels within an organization
  • Ability to manage and structure large sets of data
  • Ability to manage and prioritize simultaneous data analysis requests of varying size and scope
  • Exceptional data skills including aggregation, cleaning, manipulation, and analysis; experience with human capital data preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of business process improvement, design, and problem-solving
  • Advanced data analysis and root cause analysis skills
  • Advanced skills in Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formula writing, etc.)
  • Agile, goal-driven, and organized
  • Skilled project manager
