Job Summary

The Data Analyst drives data conversations with team leaders as well as define and build analytics tools for use across the whole organization. This person will collaborate with all departments to elicit, document, and analyze requirements around business challenges, recommend data-driven solutions, and work with internal and external teams to bring these solutions to life. This person will use data and metrics to maintain key dashboards and reports and make recommendations for continuous improvement of our projects and processes.

 Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee management of data systems for NECC, including Salesforce and childcare management software.
  • Build out internal reporting infrastructure, including interactive KPI dashboards for team leadership.
  • Provide and/or coordinate technology training and support related to data systems for NECC staff.
  • Drive internal decisions and help identify and track KPIs.
  • Support the preparation of the Program Information Report (PIR) for quarterly review and submission to the Office of Head Start Enterprise System.
  • Identify and lead the implementation of new features or systems to improve data management.
  • Consult with NECC teams to support the automation or systematization of business processes in data systems.
  • Work with the various departments at NECC to build tools and processes to track clients through the full lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, engagement, etc.).
  • Serve as liaison between NECC team and third-party software companies/consultants.
  • Create, monitor, and reconcile data entered in the data systems and ensure accuracy of entered data based on day-to-day operations and an annual basis. (e.g., internal monitoring reports, disabilities, education, family engagement, quality assurance, and health)
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Business Development & Strategy.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, information technology, mathematics, or related degree required.   A combination of education and work experience may be substituted
  • A minimum of two - four years of experience in business analysis, data management, or systems administration is required.
  • BI tool experience preferred, preferably designing, and building out interactive reporting infrastructure
