Position Details:

The Senior Consultant position requires the ability to work independently to identify and communicate product or configuration solutions that meet CSG’s customers’ needs. The candidate must have the ability to evaluate the customer’s needs and provide the right solutions. The Senior Consultant is responsible for working with the customer to set the direction of the project and establish deliverables. The role requires the ability pull detailed data, analyze it, and provide recommendations based on their understanding of the systems they are working with.

Position can be based remotely, anywhere within the United States.

Essential Job Functions 

  • Works with team members to understand and define the individual business, technical and strategic processes to ensure quality deliverables
  • Formulate solutions for CSG customers with review by Delivery Managers/Directors
  • Oversee solution implementations
  • Understand project impact throughout the team and set direction for future deliverables
  • Engages client and establishes relationships by balancing CSG’s functionality with client’s expectations of solution


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience
  • 5-7 years related experience
  • Possess detailed CSG product knowledge, specifically around system configuration, to meet customer’s business needs
  • Knowledge of ACP required
  • Experience with OSS software definition and configuration (CRM, billing, order management configuration)
  • CRM/billing system applications implementation and/or upgrade experience is preferred
  • Ability to facilitate requirements gathering sessions and perform gap analysis, system review, data analysis, and situation assessment
  • Strong consulting skills, including a strong working knowledge in client management and team participation
  • Cable and telecommunications industry experience is preferred
  • Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication and skills
  • Must possess a broad understanding of technical end-to-end solutions
  • Significant experience in customer-facing application and software projects/programs with deep knowledge of CRM, IT systems, and order management systems
  • Ability to travel to customer locations up to 50%
