Lead Transition Consultant

Ameritas is looking for a Transitions Consultant to serve as the primary liaison between the financial professional, client, regional director and internal partners during the plan installation/conversion. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of all new plans/agents/advisors. Additionally, you will develop and maintain professional relationships with financial professionals and clients to ensure required services are being provided to the client. As the client's first impression of the home office, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition from sale to service.

What you do

* Develop relationships with plan sponsor, financial professional, & TPAs
* Coordinate the transfer of plan/financial assets
* Support and coordinate with the sales team for assigned region
* Conduct consultation meetings with selected new agents/advisors and develop a plan for the smooth, efficient transition of business.
* Advocate the transition/on-boarding process to internal and external parties including but not limited to associates, financial professionals, TPAs, and clients
* Own timely, professional, and accurate resolutions to client concerns, questions, and problems possibly during high stress situations including consultative guidance to new advisors through the transition process
* Drive client service initiatives including process improvement to enhance client experience
* Maintain risk awareness and regulatory knowledge
* Coordinate changes required by the compliance team based on legally required changes
* Allocate and verify asset transfers ensuring money has been allocated appropriately and balances are correct

What you bring

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (Preferably in business or Finance)
* Minimum four years of relevant experience.
* General understanding of the industry either the securities or the insurance side
* Service oriented mind-set with sound customer service skills and abilities
* Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
* Knowledge of relevant complex legal requirements and contracts
