Defenders of the Cyber World! LES is looking to hire a cyber security manager to defend our network against the evil cyber attackers. We are looking for an individual who is up to the challenge of a constantly changing environment and can think outside the box to increase our cyber security posture. Cyber Security is highly supported at all levels within the company. Job Technical Skills – The successful candidate effectively uses available technology. Stays up-to-date with current developments in a way that adds value or insight to the team and organization.   • Manages assigned major and critical application IT Security Systems (including network hardware, software systems, desktop systems, mobile and remote systems, associated operating systems, risk assessments, and vulnerability assessments) to meet user-functional needs.

Leading/Facilitating Teams – Seeking an individual who ensures that members understand team goals and alignment of team goals to individual goals. Identifies and helps team research needed information, resources, and tools. Monitors team progress and holds members accountable for tasks. Reinforces team culture and shows confidence in others/appreciation of their contributions. Shares ownership for set-backs and responds promptly with appropriate corrective action.

  • Provides leadership, vision, and guidance for section programs related to cyber security that have organization-wide impact and develops and monitors methods to provide organizational support to applicable departments or external customers.
  • Reviews day-to-day management of IT and OT security operations.

Decision Making – The individual in this position makes effective decisions even when faced with time pressure or uncertain conditions. Recognizes when input from others is needed to make effective decisions. Makes decisions that are in the best interests of the company, even when they are difficult or unpopular.

  • Creates and communicates strategies for risk mitigation and deploys an integrated security tool set.

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, and
  • Seven years of progressively responsible experience, including five years management and supervisory experience in area of assignment, or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
  • Advanced degree preferred.


Certifications in CISSP, CISA, CISM, or GICSP (preferred).
