The Architect develops and delivers a comprehensive information security and privacy program for the college. The program is college-wide, and includes information in electronic, print, and other formats. The purposes of this program include: to assure that information created, acquired or maintained by the college, and its authorized users, is used in accordance with its intended purpose; to protect college information and its infrastructure from external or internal threats; and to assure that the college complies with contractual, statutory and regulatory requirements regarding information access, security, and privacy.

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and two (2) years of related work experience. Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience considered. Completion of one (1) information security certification or equivalent. CISSP, CISM, or OPSA required. Completion of one (1) UNIX/Linux, Cisco or Microsoft Certified System Engineer CORE exams or equivalent preferred. Ability to travel between campuses for meetings or position responsibilities. Hiring process includes a background check.

M-F day hours — with on-call responsibility for outages and critical network changes.

NOTE: College degrees obtained outside the U.S. accepted only when interpreted by transcript service members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
