    Kiewit Business Services (KBS) is a cross-functional shared service organization that provides the business units with customer-specific services focused on cost and business value.   Our services include non-core, yet essential, functions of our businesses including accounts payable, accounts receivable, change control, human capital management, payroll, project initiation, compliance and continuous improvement.

    The AP Vendor Account group is responsible for managing accounts with Kiewit's suppliers.  This group responds to vendor questions and concerns using Service Now software, reconciles vendor statements and collaborates with the vendors and internal customers to resolve discrepancies and support the timely payment of vendor invoices.

    The AP Vendor Account Analyst is responsible for handling escalated/challenging vendor setups, providing reporting and analytical information as well as developing new processes and improving existing ones.

    Position Location
    This is a shared services environment in Kiewit Business Center, a Professional office setting in Omaha, NE

    -    Assist with the complex vendor statements and issues 
    -    Reporting on Vendor balances and coordinating with various teams to ensure balances are accurate and monitored, 
    -    Manage cases in Service Now related to vendor issues, mergers & acquisitions and reporting requests
    -    Assist team with responding to internal and external customer questions and concerns; 
    -    Understand, communicate and assist with process improvements for department procedures and internal controls 
    -    Provide the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers; understand Kiewit's core business and promote a sense of urgency toward business-critical issues
    -    Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvement; collaborate with internal and external partners to increase efficiencies and improve processes
    -    Communicate  pertinent information to supervisor and/or manager immediately; 
    -    Reliable and consistent attendance
    -    Support and participate in collaboration activities to promote and implement continuous process improvement
    -    Perform other job-related tasks as needed or assigned

    -    Attention to detail with the ability to analyze data and recognize discrepancies
    -    Working knowledge of computers and accounting systems; proficient in Microsoft products; Excel and Word  
    -    Leadership skills including emotional intelligence, relationship building, coaching, collaboration, team-building, problem-solving and decision-making
    -    Excellent verbal and written communications skills; clearly conveys messages and ideas, gains understanding; generates interest and holds attention, listens and is open to the ideas of others

    -    Ability to develop specific goals for the team and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish daily work and projects

    -    Ability to travel as needed
    -    Ability to lift, sit, stoop, bend, reach, climb stairs, etc. 
    -    Ability to read from a computer or laptop monitor for several hours including fonts of various sizes from a variety of sources
    -    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
    -    Prior work experience leading a team in Accounting or Business preferred
    -    Prior experience writing and maintaining written procedures preferred
    -    Prior SAP experience preferred
