Position Overview

As the Reconciliations Analyst, you will maintain monthly account reconciliations for intercompany accounts.  You will be responsible for completing accurate and timely reconciliations including action items to resolve out of balance items.

District Overview

Kiewit Business Services (KBS) is a cross-functional shared service organization that provides the business units with customer-specific services focused on cost and business value.   Our services include non-core, yet essential, functions of our businesses including accounts payable, accounts receivable, change control, human capital management, payroll, project initiation, compliance and continuous improvement.


This position is based out of our Kiewit Business Center at 12720 I Street. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting. 


-    Complete a high volume of reconciliations using established processes and procedures
-    Coordinate efforts between Kiewit Field personnel and Home Office departments where necessary to maintain accurate and current reconciliations
-    Proactively resolve mismatched information to expedite payment of intercompany invoices and journal entries
-    Assist in all areas of reconciliations and processing of intercompany invoices as the work volume requires and anticipate departmental needs
-    Provide the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers; understand Kiewit's core business and promote a sense of urgency toward business-critical issues
-    Reliable and consistent attendance
-    Support and participate in collaboration activities to promote and implement continuous process improvement
-    Perform other job-related tasks as needed or assigned
-    Build and document department processes, procedures and efficiencies


-    Associates degree or two years accounting / business experience
-    Attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies
-    Excellent organization and time-management skills; ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish daily work and projects
-    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-    Ability to understand and follow process and controls
-    Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy with minimal supervision in a fast paced, high volume environment
-    Highly motivated and self-directed; initiative and a sense of urgency to get things done
-    Excellent customer service skills
-    Understanding of corporate policies and applications of GAAP 
-    Travel as needed 
-    Ability to Lift, sit, stoop, bend, reach, climb stairs, etc. 
-    Ability to read from a computer or laptop monitor for several hours including fonts of various sizes from a variety of sources
-    Must hold valid US Passport (if traveling to Canada, Mexico, etc.)
