The Role:

Sojern is seeking a Senior Account Manager to service our Enterprise Solution accounts spanning multiple travel verticals. Responsibilities include overseeing a portion of the west coast, owning a portfolio of strategic advertiser campaigns, while maintaining and growing advertiser partner relationships.  The Senior Account Manager will contribute to the West region’s net revenue attainment by delivering on campaign commitments, influences client strategy and partners with sales to deliver on company sales targets.  

The Senior Account Manager will need to be successful developing internal relationships within Sojern, through working cross-functionally with team leads across Sales, Analysts, Campaign Specialists/Coordinators, Product, Marketing and Engineering, with the ultimate goal of ensuring customers have the ability to achieve their desired outcome with Sojern.

In addition the Senior Account Manager must be able to delegate, have a strong voice, influence the development of new processes while improving existing, be extremely organized, while ensuring their sub-region is achieving commercial success.

To succeed in this role, you must work well with people, be comfortable making data-driven decisions, have a desire to coach and grow a team, and have an aptitude for learning!


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive success for the west coast ensuring team of direct reports contributes to the overall West region’s net revenue attainment.

  • Analyze, interpret, and report on metrics of success for the region, as well as forecast for future hiring and operational needs.

  • Build strong relationships with clients and a thorough understanding of each client’s business and campaign(s).

  • Analyze and interpret performance data to provide campaign recommendations, upsell opportunities, and new concepts that meet customer goals while growing revenue QoQ and YoY.

  • Ensure team has a solid understanding of Sojern’s products, procedures and systems, so they are positioned to collaborate with Sales to drive cross-sells.

  • Track client churn, assist team in mitigating any potential risk.

  • Drive timely collection of outstanding receivables from sub-region clients.

  • Monitor and adjust team workflows as necessary to support client needs.

  • Partner with internal, cross-functional team leads on a regular basis to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.


What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting or a related field

  • 4+ years industry, Account Management experience in Ad Tech / Programmatic / Digital Account Management

  • Experience working with a DSP and/or a social media platform like Adphorus is added bonus

  • Empowered to take initiative and give strategic recommendations in order to drive added value for your clients

  • Strong analytical abilities that leverage our data-driven platform to produce successful campaigns

  • Willing to wear multiple hats and roll up your sleeves to get the job done

  • Great with people – ability to work with internal and external teams in various time zones

  • Self-driven, detail-oriented and have exemplary organization skills

  • Motivated by the idea of evolving within a start-up environment

  • Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills

  • Experience supervising and managing a plus
