Senior Manager Finance and Accounting



 


The Sr. Manager of Finance and Reporting role within CQuence is responsible for the management of the accounting shared services team and processes, financial analysis and reporting for CQuence and its subsidiaries.   


 


Primary Duties and Responsibilities



 



  • Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of organizational structure adequate for achieving the departments goals and objectives of CQuence.

  • Oversee and/or advise on the accounting operations of partner companies, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures.

  • Oversee the business and commissions reporting functions.

  • Direct, manage and maintain the systems specifically utilized in the accounting and reporting role including Microsoft Great Plains and various add on products, reporting tools such as Prospero, tableau, excel, power BI, and other tools as needed.

  • Perform detailed extraction of data from different operating systems including the financial system to provide management with analysis of data to make informed business decisions.

  • Regularly prepares and reports on all financial related matters to the executive team.

  • Manages the CQuence accounting function and operational reporting function and may consult or assist on special projects related to CQuence Investments. 

  • Using available technology when possible, develop solutions for resolving business challenges that arise in the daily operations of the business

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial and business-related analyses, research, and forecasts including financial and expense performance

  • Partner with other departments in the preparation of analyses, identify improvement opportunities and create strategy that will provide positive results to the bottom line

  • Compile and prepare accurate, meaningful and timely reports, graphs and charts that provide insights into the performance of the business and investments

  • Partner with Compliance Officer to ensure full compliance with internal, external, legal and regulatory standards and requirements; ensure effective control procedures are in place and fully functioning to preclude improprieties from occurring

  • Conduct ongoing assessments of financial procedures to better understand and identify future needs and challenges

  • Exhibit ethical, objective business relationships in which the best interests of CQuence and its companies/investments.

  • Must be willing to provide the following information to hospitals upon request: immunization records, drug screening, background check, and training records.

  • Required to remain drug free and abide by the Drug Free Workplace policy.



 


 


Knowledge, Skills and Attributes



 



  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis and reporting

  • High level understanding of GAAP or CPA experience

  • High end user of Microsoft Excel and data reporting tools

  • Detailed understanding of data organization

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to understand legal, regulatory and compliance matters.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and private information.

  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.

  • Ability to interact competently and comfortably over the telephone.

  • Oral and written communication skills.

  • A team player, cooperative.



 


Education and Experience


 



  • Related College degree (Finance or Accounting preferred) required.




  • 5 years experience in a financial analysis role preferably with management experience

  • Experience in Operations preferred

  • Experience owning and contributing to projects and/or portions of processes

  • Knowledgeable of the accepted accounting principles
