Production Support Engineer

We are looking for the right person to join our team as a Production Support Engineer. We are looking for smart problem-solvers who are experienced and motivated to provide excellent service to our customers and partners throughout the world. Workpoint develops process automation software for a wide variety of environments using JavaScript, Java, and .NET technologies. Workpoint Automation components include browser-based JavaScript clients and Java or .NET services deployed as on-premise or Cloud solutions. You will learn the core features of our Workpoint product at an expert level. The primary responsibility is to manage customer issues related to Workpoint products and services. Production Support Engineers need to identify the issue by troubleshooting and testing with the customer to resolve any issues to our customer’s satisfaction.

They are adept at communicating with internal and external people to resolve issues, and they drive efforts to help customers preserve and future-proof their integration of Workpoint. They will have the opportunity to improve processes and customer resolutions by identifying and testing any product defects. They will be critical in administering technical support and quality assurance for Workpoint on-premise and cloud applications.


  1. Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting experience, analyzing customer problems, and asking the appropriate questions to support a resolution
  2. Perform troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques to pertinent questions associated with Workpoint products
  3. Execute and validate test plans and results for Workpoint applications
  4. Continually evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact Workpoint applications and customer experience

Advanced problem-solving methodologies, is detail-oriented, a critical-thinker, and experienced at investigating and resolving complex issues
Experience with JIRA issue tracking
Experience with Software testing process and methodologies

JAVA – 5+ years’ experience Java applications (JAVA, Groovy)
NET experience (C# and .NET 4.7 framework)
Experience with Business Process Automation
Experience Enterprise and Web Application Servers
            WildFly, RedHat EAP, Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, Tomcat
Database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Linux and Windows Operating systems
JavaScript and React experience is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
High level of attention to detail
Self-starter with initiative who takes personal responsibility and pride in their work
Ability to be productive as an individual and work on a team

Normal office environment with use of computers and telephone systems; no unusual physical demands
