    As an Analyst, you will work with our business partners, Data Stewards and Kiewit Technology group to identify data challenges and drive data quality improvements ensuring the quality and accuracy of Kiewit's data to drive decision quality throughout the organization.  In this role, you will reside within the Kiewit Data Services district and will be a part of the Data Foundations group supporting data quality.

    This is a shared services environment in Kiewit Business Center, a Professional office setting in Omaha, NE


  •     Work closely with and participate in meetings; with business partners, KTG (Kiewit Technology Group) and other KDS (Kiewit Data Services) team members to address data challenges and participate in process and standards identification and maintenance.
  •     Support data trustees, data stewards, and business process owners by providing education and understanding data challenges.
  •     Serve as the liaison between KDS and Data Trustees/Data Stewards.
  •     Maintain relationships with business partners, working with them to optimize data quality.
  •     Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns regarding data integrity.
  •     Work with the business to profile data and define Data Quality scorecards that support master/reference data and ensure data quality.
  •     Work with the business to drive data quality improvements.
  •     Work with the business to define acceptable levels of data quality.
  •     Maintain quality metrics and dashboards
  •     Identify data clean up, archiving, and standardization
  •     Identify potential improvement opportunities and communicate them to Sr Analysts.
  •     Map and maintain business processes and workflows of Data Life Cycles (create, change, maintain and close)
  •     Assess and understand business impacts related to data changes and ensure Master Data Management and business understand the impacts.
  •     Drive a continuous improvement mindset, looking out for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the business.
  •     Stay up-to-date on Data Governance and Data Management activities as they impact data quality.
  •     Document business definitions, rules, hierarchies, as they are associated with the Data Assessment.
  •     Work with Sr. Quality Analysts to maintain a business trustee, a system of record, dependencies, etc..
  •     Maintain documentation utilizing DevOps, Teams, and SharePoint as it relates to enhancements and process improvements.


  •     Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions
  •     Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent experience required
  •     Ability to use Excel at a proficient to expert level
  •     Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  •     Able to identify issues based on low to medium level complexity concepts and operational detail
  •     Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information.
  •     Attention to detail and accuracy
  •     Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced and changing environment
  •     Ability to communicate low to medium-level solutions, concepts, and issues in terms understandable to business users and management
  •     Ability to collaborate with business partners to define problems, document and work with Sr. Quality Analysts to build solutions
  •     Adapt easily to changing environments and systems
  •     Ability to challenge the status quo
  •     High sense of urgency and follow-through
  •     Experience interfacing with and influencing individuals
  •     Strong communication skills
  •     Basic knowledge of data quality, policies, and standards preferred
  •     Understanding of Kiewit Corporation business processes and SAP preferred
  •     1-3 years related experience in a data-related field preferred
  •     Basic SQL experience preferred
