The Technical Solution Architect develops enterprise level applications and custom integration solutions, including major enhancements, interfaces, functions, and features. The Technical Solution Architect also uses a variety of platforms and technologies to provide business solutions to customers. The role is typically engaged as the highest-level technology expert on a project team and operates at an advanced level.


  • Partner with Business and IT representatives throughout the entire software development lifecycle in a SAFe model.
  • Work with enterprise architecture, application, and infrastructure teams to produce optimal, high level, conceptual designs; leads analysis and development of enterprise level solutions that integrate across applications, systems, and platforms. 
  • Analyze and translate business, information, and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions to achieve business objectives; identify and evaluate alternatives for technology and integration across applications and systems.  
  • Develop and pilot new architectures to support application requirements leveraging reusable components; review new applications for conformance to existing architectures; understand and articulate technology strategies and objectives. 
  • Comply with all Company Information Services policies and standards, ensuring appropriate security and privacy measures are implemented on technology solutions to protect Company data from intentional or accidental misuse. 
  • Be a technical expert and critical resource across multiple disciplines. 
  • Change processes, policies, and standards as they relate to the architecture and design principles. 
  • Research and maintaining knowledge in emerging technologies and solution to solve business problems. 
  • Support production issues and outages outside of standard business hours to best support our business partners and customers.
  • This position requires sitting over 66% of the time.
  • This position requires Visual Acuity at 20 inches (or less) over 66% of the time.


  • 6+ years of being a full-stack software developer with experience using JavaScript, Typescript, React JS, CSS, and Java. 
  • Keen eye for UI design and prototyping. 
  • Managed large, complex, customer-facing web applications with multiple in-house and third-party dependencies. 
  • Experienced with the entire software development life cycle, including requirements definition, design, development, quality assurance, release, and maintain. 
  • Enjoys working on a team consistently deploying while managing multiple activities, projects, and initiatives occurring simultaneously; able to deal with ambiguity, unexpected events, and changing business requirements; able to handle technical, political, and organizational fluctuations. 
  • Effective verbal and written communicator with the ability to articulate and advocate technical vision, new ideas, and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Enjoys collaborating to build positive relationships and maintain constructive working relationships, using win-win approaches to resolve conflict; able to provide leadership and authority through positive example, delegation, empowerment, coaching, mentoring, and cross-training.
  • Accountable and takes initiative with work activities; making sound architectural and strategic decisions; learning and applying new skills; astuteness in identification and implementation of continuous process improvements. 


  • Software development technologies such as Groovy, Spring Framework, Vue JS, Node JS, Gradle, Docker 
  • Amazon Web Services technologies such as CloudFormation, ECS, S3, Lambda, Dynamo 
  • Testing frameworks such as Spock, Jest, Selenium, Geb 
  • Atlassian technology stack such as JIRA, Confluence, Bit Bucket
