This individual will design, develop, install, customize, test, and aid in deploying API/Services that help people understand and manage their healthcare. If you are passionate about Microsoft API/Service development and technology and want to make a difference, this role is for you.

What you’ll do:

  • Engineer API solutions using Microsoft API Technologies including ASP.NET Core (Rest API) and Azure. 
  • Apply industry best practices and API/Service patterns to ensure, security, consistence and sustainability 
  • Use Microsoft Azure Cloud constructs for development: Azure DevOps, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Blob Storage, Azure SQL and Cosmos DB
  • Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements and solutions
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical groups to ensure software design and deliverables are understood by all parties
  • Attend and participate in enterprise technical discussions to exchange new ideas and improvements
  • Utilize Agile methodologies to ensure accurate delivery of solutions
  • Assists in training and mentoring less experienced team members

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in related field
  • The ability to work well in a team environment, and be capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with other staff, departments, and customers
  • 3 years’ experience in software development/engineering, integration and architecture
  • 3 years’ experience with C#, Rest API, Azure Rest API and Web Security
  • Solid understanding of API technologies
  • Good understanding of application security
  • Good understanding of SQL programming skills, preferably with SQL Server
  • Experience with object-oriented design principles and architectures
  • Experience with build automation, continuous integration, and source code branching strategies
  • Experience with Agile software development practices
