As a Back End Software Engineer, you will be part of a high powered Software Team. We power Spreetail with our e-commerce software and are responsible for partnering with the business to build scalable, robust and innovative systems. We’re not a “slow moving or outdated” software org.  We want team-members to be innovators, disrupters and continue to push our technology further.

As a Software Engineer, you will:

    • Design, develop, and deliver powerful server-side applications 
    • Maintain data schemas of software systems 
    • Take ownership of systems, processes, and improvements to grow responsibility at the company 
    • Pursue challenging projects and push yourself beyond what’s comfortable 
    • Work with chapter leads to ensure software is built correctly 
    • Apply well-reasoned design patterns to make complex systems easier to understand  
    • Increase quality and confidence through automated testing of back-end software systems 
    • Monitor, inspect, and improve software once it is running

Requirements:

    • 2+ years of server-side development (C#, VB.Net, F#, Java, Python, etc.) 
    • 2+ years of object-oriented software development 
    • Exposure to unit testing (XUnit, NUnit, MSTest, etc.) 
    • Source Control Management (Git) 
    • Basic design pattern experience 
    • Basic knowledge of relational database concepts
