As a DevOps Pipeline Engineer you will perform various development activities for DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery and continuous monitoring. You will have the opportunity to implement CI/CD for both cloud and on-premise solutions. Included in this opportunity you will influence and collaborate with feature development teams, infrastructure and operations teams as well as business leadership to build out the process and technical capabilities to support the CI/CD disciplines.


  • Automate management and orchestration tasks for implementing CI/CD pipelines
  • Partner with scrum teams to build and deliver software releases and infrastructure improvements through improved CI/CD processes.
  • Automate common operations on critical systems in a safe and reliable manner.
  • Identify bottlenecks in development and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to increase the operational stability of the platform.
  • Understand the current systems and applications.
  • Instrument the infrastructure with frameworks that can be appropriately adopted for logging, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Be an internal consultant and mentor to more junior staff. Provide task-level leadership, guidance, and direction.
  • Comply with all Company Information Services policies and standards.
  • Ensure appropriate security and privacy measures are implemented on technology solutions to protect Company data from intentional or accidental misuse.
  • Pursue Operational Excellence in all endeavors, striving on a routine basis to identify and implement continuous process improvements.
  • Become part of a unified I/S team, bonded by a common vision, acting with integrity, making decisions with our customers in mind, embracing change, taking ownership for results and trusting and supporting each other.
  • This position requires extensive or prolonged typing/keyboarding.
  • This position requires sitting over 66% of the time.
  • This position requires Visual Acuity at 20 inches (or less) over 66% of the time.


  • DevOps Engineer or equivalent software-engineering role with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • Keeps a handle on design and maintenance with code repository management, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration, and automated deployment and management
  • Guru with microservices development and design patterns
  • Knowledgeable with Java web applications (Spring Cloud, Spring Boot)
  • Experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring
  • Someone who has worked with several of the following tools, but is open to exploring new options too:
    • Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Packer, Git, GitHub, CheckMarx, SonarQube, WhiteSource, Artifactory, Gradle, Anisble
