The Systems Administrator role is to ensure proper computer and network operation so that our client end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes actively resolving escalated end user help requests within established SLAs. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the client’s site.

Here are some important traits we are looking for:

Knowledge & Experience

  • Knowledge of advanced computer hardware, including PC’s, Thin Clients, Servers, networking hardware and printers.
  • Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows 7-8-10, Apple OS and Windows Server.
  • Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards.
  • Excellent hardware troubleshooting experience.
  • Competence with testing tools and procedures for voice and data circuits.
  • Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills.
  • Strong documentation skills.

Formal Education & Certifications - College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 3 years equivalent work experience. Certifications not required but highly desirable.
