To help drive that engagement, we have an immediate need for an Information Technology Systems Administrator. As part of a team, you will provide end-user software and hardware support and back-end network administration, business analysis, and project management in all areas of Information Technology.


IT Systems Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service, take care of our users throughout the organization and be responsive to a multitude of technology requests as a versatile member of the IT team
  • Support and administration of laptop and desktop computers, printers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, company smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches, directory service
  • Troubleshoot, track, and conduct root cause analysis of user issues, system operational issues including investigation and remediation of security incidents
  • Collaborate, consult, advise and participate with users and management to identify business and technical requirements of existing or proposed work processes and business needs to recommend system architecture, standards, methods, technology, hardware, software, and installation plans,
  • Research and analyze viability related to technology projects to recommend system upgrades, cost-effective solutions and process improvements, impact and exposure of emerging security threats.
  • Provide IT leadership and project management by developing and sustaining collaborative working relationships with project stakeholders and monitoring milestones and deliverables to drive innovation and performance.

IT Systems Administrator Requirements:

  • Two years of educational credits towards a degree, from an accredited college or university, in Information Technology or a closely related field, or two years of general information technology career experience. Three or more years of education and/or career experiences is preferred.
  • Fundamental comprehension and capabilities with network operating systems, infrastructure, engineering protocols, and supporting devices; computer hardware and supporting devices; troubleshooting and repair skills; systems and procedures analysis; basic automation techniques (scripting); modern productivity software (e.g., word processor, spreadsheet, database, etc.); workflow scheduling and project management principles; and principles and practices of organizational management.
  • Knowledge or certifications desired: Design, configuration and administration of Windows 7, 10 and Server(2012/2019)/Desktop Operating Systems (10), Basic LAN/WAN networking, routing, and switching; Advanced Active Directory/LDAP user and group policies.
  • Knowledge or certifications ideal for the role: MCSE, MCITP, A+, Network+, PMP, deployments/rollouts via GPO or 3rd party, Microsoft Hyper-V/Virtual Systems
  • Organized and able to manage multiple projects of varying length; positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently as well in collaboration with diverse teams; able to keep up-to-date on information technology trends and security standards; able to effectively communicate verbally and written in English.
  • Occasional travel at company expense will be required
