Systems Administrator

Signature Performance

This position will administer Signature Performance's desktops, servers, and software
applications. The individual must analyze user requirements, procedures, and methodologies
to automate processing or to improve existing systems.

This position reports to the Systems Manager

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Ensure effective operation of the network to meet business needs, including assistance in
    the design of network architecture, integration and installation of IT equipment.
  • Research and evaluation of technology solutions for business needs
  • Educate staff regarding use of software, systems and applications
  • Prepare and maintain documentation of network and systems configurations
  • Maintain and test disaster recovery plans
  • Ensure compliance with licensing requirement
  • Rotate as after-hours contact and perform after-hours support as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary
  • Provide all aspects of IT network support and administration including, but not limited to:
    • Advanced troubleshooting of desktops, server and network infrastructure.
    • SAN administration
    • VMware administration
    • LAN/WAN/VPN administration
    • Microsoft Exchange, Accounting, document imaging software and other business
      information systems.
    • Software/hardware installation and troubleshooting
    • User account administration
    • Database administration
    • Maintain security posture of network and systems


  • 6+ years IT work experience in systems and network administration
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Office 365 and Azure
  • Experience with SCCM preferred
  • Effective team member working toward company goals.
  • Active Directory administration and implementation
  • Windows Server Administration
  • Network troubleshooting and administration including VPN, DNS, DHCP, WINS, TCP/IP, L2
    and L3 Routing, VLAN Tagging, and SD-WAN
  • Experience in the supporting, configuration, and administration of next generation
    firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, and other networking equipment and
  • Microsoft Exchange and Teams administration preferred.
  • Telecom system administration experience preferred.
  • Database administration preferred.
  • Business intelligence systems administration
  • Analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to successfully perform job functions with minimal supervision.

The incumbent must be able to conduct business and personal affairs in a manner that is
always a credit to the company.


The incumbent must be able to effectively operate the current computer system, telephone
system, and other office machines such as copier and fax machines. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY:
The incumbent must be able to finger, grasp, feel, see, sit, hear, and speak. The incumbent
for this position must also be able to lift, move and set up common systems equipment.


The incumbent works in an office environment that is not substantially exposed to adverse
environmental conditions such as heat, cold, or extreme noise. Routine periods of being on
the phone, sitting and data keying are required.
Remote Eligibility: This position is Ad-hoc remote eligible. Eligibility is determined by
Management or Human Resources.
