Coordinator, Experience Rated Sales Support

The Coordinator, Experience Rated Sales Support is responsible for facilitating the dental and vision bid process for large experience rated cases as well as our more complex, politically sensitive, and/or non-traditional groups, potential key brokers and blocks of business. This position operates under limited supervision and works with our strategic partners sales force and will act as an internal liaison between external field partners and the internal operational departments by using interpretation to complete submissions for prospective cases. The emphasis of this position is to ensure the timely release of bids, making sure all aspects of the assigned bids have been researched and completed in an accurate, compelling manner to the client.

Essential Functions

* Support the underwriting department on new or renewal business by gathering, processing, and entering routine information needed in order for the underwriters to determine ratings.
* Review incoming bids for accuracy and completeness. Communicate by phone or written correspondence with field partners on information requiring some explanation or interpretation.
* Census compilation, sorting and summarization.
* Gather and organize information and reports that aid underwriters in reaching rating decisions.
* Prepare proposal documents including customization of special bid requirements language and proposal formatting when needed.
* Maintain bid submission documentation, correspondence and tracking of case data.
* Partner with fellow Coordinators to obtain network reports and/or complete questionnaire responses to meet bid requirements.
* Communicate with stakeholders involved in bid to ensure all stakeholders are appropriately informed.
* Schedule and facilitate meetings for the financial and sales review of large cases.
* Submit sold cases for new business implementation.


* High School Diploma or GED
* Less than 2 years related experience acceptable
* Intermediate Excel and Word skills

* High degree of organization and prioritization skills to meet deadlines
* Analytical, detail-oriented and operates with accuracy in a fast-paced environment
* General Knowledge of Group insurance products and bid process
