Our Business Development Sales Support team is looking for a teammate to join our team as a Sales Support Associate Coordinator. Our fun, high-performing team works together to support our Strategic Partner organization's sales force. Our Team is responsible for providing dental and vision proposals to field offices nationwide. Our core focus is on cases with less than 200 enrolled lives and providing support to the field offices by assisting with questions about products and plan design elements and submitting new case information to our Group Administration team.

The Sales Support Associate Coordinator position is a key role on our team. Upon receiving the dental and vision Request for Proposal (RFP) documents from the strategic partner field offices, the Associate Coordinator is responsible for initiating the internal RFP quoting process. Conducting the initial review of the RFP documents and distributing cases in accordance with workflow guidelines in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner are essential for this position. This role provides customer service and acts as an internal liaison between external field partners and internal operational departments by responding to inquiries about submissions.

What you do

* As the initial contact with customers, the incumbent delivers prompt and courteous customer service through daily interactions with internal and external customers.
* The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the strategic partners RFP in-box ensuring cases are logged in timely for processing and for meeting the RFP turnaround time service standard metrics.
* Review incoming proposal requests for accuracy and completeness and responsible for assigning cases according to workflow guidelines.
* Responsible for overseeing the sold case submission inbox and reviewing incoming submissions for completeness. Utilizes Adobe software to combine multiple pdf documents and maintains submission records and proper documentation using Microsoft Access Database.
* Assists with providing plan benefit highlight sheets for new case submissions to the field offices and sold case submissions to the group administration department.
* Provides back up and assists with the review and logging of the large case RFP submissions.
* Provides general administrative office support including database reporting and generating reports and related materials.

What you bring

* H.S. Diploma or GED required
* Less than 2 years related experience acceptable
* Intermediate Excel and Word skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* High degree of organization and prioritization skills
* Detail-oriented and operates with accuracy in a fast-paced environment
* General Knowledge of Group insurance products and bid process is helpful
