Ameritas is seeking a Lead Sales Training and Education Specialist to join the team.  In this role, you will lead the development, design, and delivery of sales training programs to achieve shortened learning curves and increased sales.

What you do

* Assess, design, and evaluate training content, including but not limited to facilitating e-learning presentations and virtual education and learning series

* Manage and direct the development of training courses using instructional design methodology, adult learning principles, and blended learning philosophy.

* Determine the most efficient, cost effective method for delivering training.

* Evaluate data and feedback as required to provide measurements regarding the effectiveness of training programs.

* Manage training projects including the functions of needs analysis, product demonstrations, reporting progress, and following the project through to completion.

* Manage the learning management system, used primarily for on-demand learning

* Communicate with management on recommended training enhancements.

* Identify gaps in effectiveness of existing and future trainings.

* Create regulatory compliance training as well as learning and staying current with regulations and legislation.

What you bring

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

* 2-4 years of training and education experience.

* Strong presentation and hosting abilities

* Strong organizational, time and project management skills.

* Solid creativity abilities to curate and create curriculum content.

* Experience with Lectora or another content curriculum platform preferred.

* Must obtain Series 6 license with 6 months and Life and Health license within 12 months.
