Job Summary

Responsible for providing hardware/software service and support to customers by telephone, e-mail, internet or fax. Performs problem troubleshooting diagnosis and resolution for primarily banking applications. Ensures customer satisfaction and customer availability goals are met.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities 

  • Performs problem determination and resolution on a wide range of products
  • Utilizes working relationships with other support analysts development personnel product management and sales to enhance resolution of customer issues and drive product improvements
  • Directly influences customers continued application processing and customer satisfaction depending on speed and quality of problem resolution and customer relationship skills
  • Takes the initiative to expand their systems and application knowledge attend training when appropriate and read manuals and supporting documentation
  • All employees are responsible for using the principles of First In Service in order to continuously improve the performance products and services of Scantron

Experience

  • Ability to diagnose hardware and software operational errors and product failures
  • Must be able to problem solve, think analytically, and be attentive to detail
  • Good verbal communication skills for interaction with customers

 

Education

  • Post secondary technical training is preferred
  • Actual support / application experience with banking products is desirable
  • Two years experience in micro-computers and operating systems experience is required
