Position Description

What does a great Client Technical Support Rep, Staff Specialist do?

You will work with a wide range of Fiserv clients enabling them to successfully use the Fiserv Business Analytics products for IH Premier, Prime and BIM, to achieve their business objectives including developing report writing expertise for ad-hoc or scheduled reports, and fielding questions about the processing of the application. Associate independently handles customer calls and cases by researching and answering questions to determine resolutions to inquiries and challenges with the report writing software. This includes you deeply tracking, organizing and documenting activities to ensure clients receive regular follow up and the status is consistently updated. Many issues are solved at this level.

As a Technical Support Rep, you can look forward to:

  • You will handle all client calls and issues. Research and problem-solve to determine resolutions to reported problems. Build and maintain high-level client satisfaction that is measured via the monthly and annual surveys. Goals for call responsiveness are set for the Division and apply to this function.
  • You will train new clients on the features and operation of Business Analytics applications enabling them to successfully use the product and achieve their business objectives.
  • You will provide ongoing training as needed for existing clients.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • High School Diploma required; 4-year college degree in relevant discipline OR 2-year college degree + 2 years of related experience in applicable field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience
  • Flexibility to work after hours and/or on call rotations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Your experience working in banking or financial services industry preferred.
  • Database – MS SQL experience strongly preferred
  • Your experience in IBM/Cognos experience preferred.
  • Experience in a customer interfacing role using problem/resolution skills.
  • Strong PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Phone support in a client service role
