Ameritas Investments Partners is hiring for an Investments Intern to drive the business by working with various investment management teams including Fixed Income, Equities, Commercial Mortgage Loans, Real Estate, Alternative Investments and Wealth Management. Ameritas Investment Partners is a registered investment advisor managing more than $17 billion in assets under management for insurance companies, public and private pension funds, endowments, foundations, mutual funds and high net worth individuals.

Essential Job Functions

Work alongside the Fixed Income research team, gaining a broad understanding of credit analysis and trading within the fixed income markets.

Work with the Commercial mortgage loan and real estate department to analyze data and understand real estate principals of valuation and underwriting.

Work alongside the equity team providing support for a variety of equity and alternative asset classes.

Work with the Wealth Management team to gain exposure to the investment management process for private client portfolios.

Qualifications

Able to fulfill a year-round internship working 15-20 hours in the academic year and 40 hours in the summer.

Position will go from May 2020 and will end in May 2021

Minimum Education Requirements:

* Major in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration
* Must be enrolled in a college program during internship program
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Highly organized and detail oriented​
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Self-motivated
