Ameritas is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our Talent Acquisition team. The Coordinator will partner with Recruiters and internal managers to support the hiring process including interview scheduling/coordination, candidate experience, reporting, and Recruiting projects and initiatives.

Essential Functions

* Assisting in the onboarding process of candidates, maintaining solid candidate contact from offer acceptance to start date.
* Conduct, oversee and monitor background checks, pre-employment drug screens, reference checks and completion of all new hire paperwork.
* Manage new hire data ensuring all records fed into the system are complete and accurate
* Create records and reports on recruiting activities; responsible for MAR and compliance reporting.
* Providing follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email.
* Coordinate the company's participation in all local job fairs and recruiting initiatives and events.
* Maintains records on recruiting activities as required.
* Create and maintain weekly, monthly and quarterly recruiting reporting.
* System configuration for ADP Recruiting Management system
* Schedule and coordinate interviews with recruiters and hiring managers; arrange necessary travel and lodging for applicants.
* Assisting in the coordination of other recruiting activities and projects as requested

Experience

* High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred
* 0-2 of recruiting coordinator or human resources or relevant experience required
* Experience with selection processes including phone interviews and background checks preferred
* Prior knowledge of employment regulations and best practices preferred
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
* Discretion in dealing with confidential information
