Payroll Coordinator - Part Time

Seeking a detail-oriented person with entry level accounting knowledge to join our payroll team responsible for processing 1099 payments. This is a great opportunity for someone to learn about a unique side of the payroll world!

The Payroll Coordinator provides support and assistance in the timely preparation of the organization's payroll. Also responsible for supporting the administration of payroll policies and procedures to enhance the effectiveness and ensure the accuracy of the payroll function.

Essential Functions

* Prepare, batch and key pay data for the payroll system data entry
* Balance Payroll data and reports before, during and after payroll processing
* Maintain appropriate records, following internal standard operating procedures and controls for payroll processing as well as audit check points
* Assist in processing corrections to employee payment records for accurate employee and company level filings
* Prepare, batch and key data for the accounting system data entry
* Prepare and distribute key outputs from process to internal and external business partners.


* H.S. Diploma or GED required
* Less than 2 years related experience preferred
* Basic excel knowledge
* Available 20 hours a week. Must be available the 2 days of the month that 1099 payments are processed.
