The Role: 

You as the Legal/Finance Administrative Assistant should have exceptional administrative and research skills. You should feel comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

As the Legal/Finance Administrative Assistant, you should be detail oriented, exercise sound judgement and must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen interest in providing purposeful support to lawyers, finance professionals and paralegals.  The top candidates will possess incredible accuracy, strong IT skills and excellent time management.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update databases and tracking systems.

  • Assist with preparation of requests for information from partners/clients

  • Assist with the management of Sojern’s international subsidiaries and offices, including related corporate maintenance.

  • Create and organize information, and generate reference tools for easy use by the team

  • Obtain relevant information from other organizations.

  • Assist with ongoing coordination with other shared services teams to support Sojern’s business.

  • Ensure efficient and effective administrative information and assistance.


What you bring to the table:

  • 1+ year of experience

  • Analytical thinker with detailed research proficiencies

  • Ability to grasp and interpret legal and financial documents

  • Systematic knowledge of databases and tracking systems

  • Fantastic organizational skills and detail oriented

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Brilliant written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in GoogleSuite, Excel and Word

  • Some experience in a legal environment preferred
