The primary functions of this position are 1) lead a team of support analysts to address incidents related to the systems used within the Finance organization in a timely manner, 2) document root cause and permanent resolution for more effective transaction processing and reconciliation , 3) work closely with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements.

Specific Duties:

1.Ensure incident tickets are addressed and assigned to the appropriate subject matter experts. 2.Provide updates to stakeholders with status and estimated time of resolution.

3.Develop metrics to track effectiveness and efficiency of issue resolution.

4.Ensure resolution complies with accounting standards, company policy, and applicable regulations.

5.Work cross-functionally to develop and implement end-to-end solutions that address the organization's ability to provide accurate, timely, defect free reconciliations.

6.Ensure that existing, and any new, processes have proper internal control steps built in that meet SOX requirements.

7.Participate in special projects as needed and perform other duties as assigned.


A. Education

BA/BS Degree; Accounting and/or Systems preferred.

B.  Experience

  • 10+ years relevant work experience in accounting operations, functional support, and/or incident management, including experience in high volume, complex general ledger reconciliations.
  • Experience with developing business and functional requirements.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience working with cross –functional and international teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Project and Excel.
  • Experience working with complex, multi-system environments.
  • Financial institution or payments industry experience a plus.

V. Additional Requirements

This position may require travel up to as much as 10% of time.
