Position Details:

CSG’s Broadband, Cable and Satellite Customer Business Unit is looking for a Business Systems Analyst intern for Summer 2021!  We're interested in students with a strong desire to work in a collaborative environment with professionals across the Sales, Account Management, Operations, Solution Engineering and Project Management teams that are part of our sales organization.  In this internship, you will experience various components of our complex business and work side-by-side with our Customer Business Unit Team supporting North America’s top communications companies.

 

As a CSG intern, you will:

  • Interact with the BC&S Leadership team
  • Partner with Client Business Executives and Customer Relationship Managers to learn how to manage all aspects of the business process and sales life-cycle using different Project Management tools and technologies
  • Have the ability and flexibility to create new operational tools or use existing 3rd party tools as a means to improve operational processes
  • Gain hands-on experience needed to manage software code deployment and change management governance.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Project Management or other technology-related field
  • Requires a strong work ethic, a commitment to excellent customer service and teamwork, and the ability to integrate rapidly with an existing team
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, ever-changing, team environment
  • Excellent verbal communication; preferably demonstrated with presentations in class or to outside audiences
  • Requires excellent written communication skills: demonstrated experience, such as proposals, journal articles or relevant classwork is a requirement.
  • Must possess a desire to learn, a drive to improve and a natural curiosity about how things work and why things are done in a certain way
  • Must possess a desire to interact with peers, clients and prospects and a passion for improving the customer experience
  • Experience and comfort with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) is a requirement.
  • Knowledge of Jira or Confluence as a Portfolio and Program Management tool a plus
  • Programming experience in Python, Java or Visual Basic a plus
  • Ability to work full-time out of our Omaha Office from June- August

Schedule

  • Internship runs from June 7th - August 31st
  • Full-time, Monday-Friday, Regular Business Hours
