About the position:

Processes accounting data to develop accurate financial information and serve as primary support to other operational and business staff.

In this position you will:​

Prepare mid-month and month-end financial reports that assist in the efficient operation of the agency. Analyze financial status of the program and work with business manager to develop recommendations for corrective actions.

Prepare month end journal entries with the guidance of the business manager to assure accurate financial statements.

Assist in the preparation of the agency annual budget.
*

Maintain ongoing communication and provide technical support to the agency leadership team and staff in the areas of financial practice.

Provide new employee training in the areas of client finance, billing and other related financial functions.
*

Assist in the client billing processes to ensure that revenues are maximized, but not limited to time and attendance validation, service authorization coordination and accounts receivable analysis.

Prepare non-client billing functions, including but not limited to, contracts, rent, stores, etc. Functions include preparation of the invoices, collecting and applying payments and all sales tax remittances. 
*

Lead discussion of fiscal issues during monthly operations meetings with agency and regional staff. 
*

Review, evaluate, and update internal accounting procedures and systems as needed.
*

Manage the coordination of benefits for people served, such as insurance, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.
*

Prepare monthly petty cash reconciliations according to Mosaic policies and procedures.

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Accounting preferred. 
*

Minimum of two years of experience in a related field required. 
*

Experience may be substituted for education.
