Position Description

What does a great PS Advisory Services Consultant do?

The Consultant in Advisory Services is instrumental in the success of Advisory Services. In this position, you will –

  • Complete engagements focused on the analysis of the client’s data and the re-design of the client’s deposit products to help the client meet its strategic, business and customer needs
  • Analyze industry data to help Advisory Services adapt and build services to meet the needs of a changing industry
  • Partner with other Consultants to assure our consulting services are consistent and support the Fiserv clients and deliver the best in the business
  • Partner with the Director of Advisory Services to develop standardized reporting and to improve the capabilities and deliverables associated with our consulting engagements
  • Have good organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and an excellent attitude towards work. You must be able to establish a good rapport with clients and team members and be very proficient in client communication.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing or another business-related field required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in banking or a banking-related field (product marketing)
  • A detailed understanding of how banks generate revenue
  • Skill set to extract and analyze complex data
  • Develop and clearly communicate banking product recommendations to all levels of client associates, from the C-suite to the product, technology and operational staff
  • MS Office- primarily Excel and PowerPoint
  • Travel 10%-20%

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Product management for deposit products at a financial institution
  • Worked for or with a Fiserv core client with a particular focus on deposit applications
  • Consulting with a focus on deposit products and/or customer and transactional data analysis
  • Understanding of customer and account on-boarding process and marketing
