Job Description Summary The IVR team delivers voice channel experiences for PayPal customers around the world. Working as part of this team you will be responsible for helping to deliver amazing customer experiences across Omnichannel, Conversational AI and traditional IVR platforms. You will be a quality champion with laser sharp customer focus who will help deliver exceptional experiences and interactions that will delight our customers. This quality engineering role will provide opportunities to test and write code across a range of platforms, technologies and languages (.NET, C#, Java, Avaya IVR and Conversational AI platforms to name a few). You will be analytical, have strong problem solving skills and have experience in writing complex and detailed test cases from both code and specifications documents. Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to perform the following tasks with some regularity:
  • Document test cases
  • Record test progress and results
  • Code automated tests
  • Create test plans
  • Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
  • Discover bugs within the Application.
  • Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes
  • Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing
  • Identify any potential problems that users might encounter
  • Perform manual and automated testing
  • Research and analyze product features being tested
  • Research new tools, technologies, and testing processes
  • Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Ability to make timely and sound decisions. Proactively anticipate problems and provide solutions/suggest alternatives as needed.
  • Self-motivated and accountable with high attention to detail.
  • Perform Webservice/Rest Services integration testing, Voice recognition, TTS (Text to speech) and DTMF
  • Candidate must have strong analytical skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and relate these to customer requirements.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of three to four years hands-on testing (manual and automated)
  • Deep knowledge of QA concepts, automation tools(e.g. Selenium) and REST API testing frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems

Preferred Skills:

  • CAI experience highly desirable
  • Any experience with Google Dialog flow is a plus
  • Solid SQL skills for analyzing data
  • Strong Jira experience and familiarity with Agile methodology
  • Strong analytical skills
