As the Inventory Management Specialist, you will succeed by being part of a highly efficient team to support the inventory needs of the Output Solutions Center (OSC) Operations team. The position will partner with Marketing Solutions and/or the Customer Delivery Manager team (CDM’s) to understand the client’s marketing and/or inventory needs while adhering to the equipment specifications of the operation. Work closely with the purchasing manager/lead, finance/accounting to protect margins, and bill clients accurately on a weekly basis. Position Details
Inventory Management. Partner with OSC Operations and the CDM team to ensure proper inventory targets are achieved and warehouse utilization is at an optimum level.
Work with the purchasing manager/lead, OSC Operations & the CDM team to help implement best practices for managing inventory levels and ensuring no out of stock situations
Partner with OSC Operations to keep warehouse utilization at optimum levels
Monitor purchasing activity to ensure vendor lead times are being followed and low inventory risk is at a minimum
Ensure best delivery processes are followed to minimize additional freight costs
Ensure all deliveries are reviewed for accuracy and quality in a timely manner
Customer Service. Utilize strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve both internal and external CSG customers.
Help establish and implement best practices for exceptional customer service
Ensure all variables are captured with each new material request to ensure appropriate customer pricing
Partner with CDM team to gather necessary requirements to deliver on customer commitments
Assist with resolving any quality issues that arise during production that could result in increased costs, delayed deliveries or customer dissatisfaction as needed
Vendor Management. Maintain strong relationships with qualified vendors to ensure on-time delivery of quality products.
Understand each vendor’s capabilities and production methodology to ensure delivery of quality products
Understand requirements for quality printing
Assist with the resolution of any production or product quality issues with vendor resulting in replacement product or monitory credit
Assist manager/lead with paper and envelope Request for Proposal (RFP) processes and vendor communications
Financial. Accurately report monthly inventory activity for inclusion on company financials
Compile month-end inventory information to ensure accurate reporting on financial statements
Utilizing strong attention to detail maintain timely information resulting in accurate billing and financial reporting
Request competitive external pricing with qualified vendors to enable CSG to offer the best rates to our customers while maintaining margins where appropriate
Ensure all purchase orders are generated using accurate pricing and mapping to appropriate general ledger accounts

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related financial field required.
2+ years of customer service, inventory management, or accounting experience in a comparable environment preferred
Basic accounting acumen with the ability to translate business requirements into accurate billing and reporting
Strong decision-making and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail, consulting, negotiation, problem solving and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze workflow, evaluate processes, and formulate plans
Competency with Microsoft Excel and Word with Oracle experience a plus
Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment
