Summary:

The PMO Program Manager Assoc. has primary responsibility for managing and monitoring the implementation of complex projects and/or medium to large size programs from conception through delivery. They ensure the assigned effort is planned, managed and governed in a consistent, transparent and disciplined manner. The PMO Program Manager Assoc. has a firm understanding of Project and Program Management, SAFe, Agile and Dev/Ops practices and can mentor their peers and team members and guides the organization in these principles and methodologies.

Position Details:

Manages and monitors the implementation of complex projects and/or medium to large size programs from conception through delivery –
  • Organization of all activities ensuring completion within plan, scope and budget constraints for complex projects and/or medium to large size programs 
  • Identifies and manages the mitigation of project/program impediments and risks. 
  • Leads multiple projects/workstreams in defining program tasks, assumptions, deliverables, dependencies, issue resolution, and escalation when appropriate. 
  • Acts as a key liaison between the business, IT, and operations to ensure alignment of business objectives with governed priorities.
  • Partners with organizational leadership to define and deliver on key business objectives and works relentlessly towards achieving tangible business value for CSG and its Clients.
  • Manages program operating costs budgets for all program activities and monitor expenditures to ensure that they remain within budgetary limits. 
  • Acts as a key liaison between external vendors & partners and maintains confidentiality and CSGs best interest.
  • Possesses high technical aptitude and familiarity with CSG Product knowledge, specializing in Operations and Infrastructure (i.e. Database, Network, Server Administration, Storage, data centers, PCI, BCP, Security, etc.). 

Communication guru - encourages open communication and collaborates with all levels of the organization.  Uses the appropriate channels and understands what information the team needs and how to get it.  Speaks and writes clearly and succinctly.

  • Facilitates and engages in direct, open, honest communication related to assigned efforts. 
  • When appropriate, offers key insights into alternative approaches, solutions and plans and engages in critical and crucial conversations in a professional manner. 
  • Works as a cross-functional leader between technical and non-technical resources and stakeholders in order to ensure all requirements are understood and met.
  • Acts as the communications conduit to executive sponsors and program steering committee and conducts periodic briefing/status updates.
  • Able to produce intelligent, data-driven, fact based, measurable reports/data graphs and KPIs to visually articulate progress or lack thereof.
