Summary:

Do you have a track record of managing complex projects and aligning stakeholders to drive results? Are you passionate about the user experience of a product or service? We are looking for an Associate Product Manager to join our team. This individual will work closely with the Product Manager and will split their time between two exciting programs: CSG’s client portal and product launch program.

Position Details:

The client portal provides a single place for our clients to find support, learn about using our products, and facilitate other interactions with CSG. It is being redesigned from the ground up, and this is a great opportunity to influence a program that has a direct impact on our customer experience. As a business owner for the redesign and rebuild of our client portal, this person will bring customer needs and priorities to the technical teams to implement functionality to serve our customers. This will involve building relationships with our customer-facing teams and Customer Centricity team, as well as the technical project team behind the portal and the various owners of the content available within the portal. This person will need to be highly detailed, skilled at managing complex projects, and obsessively keep client needs and experience as part of their decision making. They will perform analysis, distill customer needs into requirements for the technical teams, assist in prioritization, and ensure successful implementation of functionality.

Secondly, this individual will be a project manager for our Product Launch program. They will build relationships with stakeholders and Product Managers and guide new CSG products through the process to ensure they are fully supported before they are delivered to customers. They need to be skilled in aligning groups and holding people accountable, as well as have excellent communication and facilitation skills.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze program data, documenting successes and identifying the most strategic areas of improvement.

  • Assist the Product Manager in feature definition and roadmap creation

  • Research industry best practices for client portals and customer experience

  • Provide input into UX/UI decisions

  • Build a strong network with program stakeholders and team members, acting as a liaison between the business and technical teams

  • Assist in the creation of communication and promotion plans around adoption and utilization of the portal and new functionality as it’s released.

  • Project Management of new product launches, coordinating up to 16 internal teams to prepare to support a new product.

  • Create and distribute product launch program communications

  • Build relationships with product launch stakeholders and understand their needs

  • Implement continuous improvement practices

  • Other duties as directed. This person will be joining a highly collaborative team that is shaping the strategies for a number of initiatives across the enterprise, with future potential for growth and learning new skillsets that lay the foundation for achieving career goals.

Requirements/Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Business Administration or Computer Science

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience

  • Project Management experience desired

  • Displays personal leadership and an entrepreneurial mindset

  • Displays external leadership with superior relationship building, problem solving, and the ability to influence and motivate others

  • Proven track record of driving innovation

  • Ability to translate customer needs and abstract concepts into concrete units of functionality and prioritize them

  • Ability to create compelling communications and presentations to a variety of audiences that convey the most relevant information, generate excitement, and influence strategy

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience gathering and analyzing information for the development of effective solutions to problems or situations

  • Self-motivated individual who works well in a team environment

  • UX/UI or web design experience favorable

  • BMC Helix Digital Workplace experience favorable

  • Client support experience, such as account management, favorable

  • Digital media creation experience is favorable
