$75,525.00-$120,840.00Summary:
Work with the Dir Environmental Health & Safety and the EH&S Specialist in Florida to develop, implement and perform global audits for local and governmental compliance programs in Environmental, Health and Safety areas to provide a healthy and safe work environment. This role will also be primarily responsible for gathering, evaluating, and promoting recycling and reuse goals for the entire company.Position Details:

Essential Job Functions
- Complete site audits for the OSC locations to ensure compliance with environmental, heath and safety laws, training, and permits
- Educate local entities on the importance of compliance
- Maintain records and suggest improvements
- Work with local management to determine vendors, solutions, and cost impacts
- Conduct accident investigations, discover root causes, and implement corrective measures
- Notify leadership of incidents that involve risk to employees, facilities, or company assets
- Ensure federal, state, and local angencies are notifed of incidences as required by law
- Develop prevention programs positivelt impacting accident trends
- Conduct job hazard analyses
- Develop, implement, and maintain emergency preparedness programs
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety training to meet OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other state/federal agency standards
- Maintain and update the corporate EH&S website to ensure accessibility and content improvement
- Assume sole responsibility for recycling and reusing data on an international basis
- Collaborate with facilities team to obtain data
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience
- Three to five years experience with Environmental Health & Safety
- Demonstrated ability to conduct EHS training
- Ability to provide solutions to complex projects under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, Ergonomics and Worker’s Compensation
- Knowledge of local, state and Federal regulations pertaining to environmental safety policies and procedures
- Ability to travel up to 35% of the time
- Ability to use a personal computer. Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment
Preferred Certifications
- ASP – Associate Safety Professional
- CSP – Certified Safety Professional
- Arm – Associate in Risk Management
- CPR – First Aid certification
