Global Pricing continues to emerge as one of PayPal’s most prominent strategic finance functions. As a Manager within the Pricing Operations Team, you will be responsible for the migration of pricing associated with acquired PayPal Brands, and overall insight of day to day pricing operations following the migration of work. You will partner with key stakeholders currently supporting pricing in each of the PayPal Brands, pricing strategy, legal, sales, CSM’s and sales operations globally. As the manager of the team, you will be responsible for oversight of all day to day operations processes supported by a team of pricing analysts. Given the high-profile nature of Global Pricing, this role offers regular visibility and the opportunity to materially impact PayPal’s business.


  • Drive the transition of all pricing processes into Global Pricing Operations
  • Drive the execution of all pricing related support activities
  • Escalation point for applicable pricing related escalations
  • Track and monitor pricing operations activities and milestones
  • Resource planning to ensure milestones are being met by the team
  • Identify trends or gaps in work and help to drive automation/streamlining of these activities
  • Lead Pricing Operations team – regular team meetings, regular 1:1’s, collaboration with the broader global pricing team
  • Drive best practices across the team

  • 2+ years experience managing a team
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong organizational skills-ability to manage multiple initiatives/efforts at the same time.
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment
  • Possess strong attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to develop effective solutions which consider efficiencies, internal controls and the other impact to financial results.
  • Must be a self-motivated team player with a collaborative approach, working as part of a diverse, global team
  • Must be flexible to support various businesses and regions globally

  • Ability to operate in a highly complex cross-functional matrixed organization structure to drive direction, decision making, and priorities
  • Highly accountable, with ability to independently lead and coordinate complex initiatives globally.
  • Ability to influence team, peers and leaders, to build consensus while dealing with ambiguity, and make or delegate decisions when necessary
  • High attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines.
