Administrative Assistant


Support a leadership team by providing administrative functions.

This position will be responsible for supporting a leader and their leadership team within the Ameritas Group Division.  Focus on calendar management, meeting preparation, travel/expenses, and gathering information for reporting purposes.  Assist with planning team celebrations and events.

Success in this role will require an ability to interact within all levels of the business while maintaining high levels of confidentiality.  Strong relationship/interpersonal skills are essential, including professional written and verbal communication skills.  Robust organization skills are necessary, with a detail-oriented focus.

What you do

* Proactively maintain the calendar and schedule for supported leader(s)
* Seek opportunities to handle details and maximize the efficiency for supported leader(s)
* Scheduling of meetings and resolving conflicts to maintain schedule clarity
* Compile information for various recurrent reporting topics
* Assists in development and preparation of routine and ad-hoc presentations
* Ensuring facilities and/or room setup with accompanying technology
* Complete monthly expense reports. Assists in expense reporting, processing invoices, completing purchase orders.
* Special projects as assigned

What you bring

* 1-2 years previous experience in administrative support positions or similar
* High School Diploma or GED required with preference to related post-secondary education or degree
* Intermediate to advanced technical expertise in various windows applications including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
