The Sr Business Resiliency Architect collaborates on the development of enterprise level applications and custom integration solutions, including major enhancements, interfaces, functions, and features with a specific focus on improving technology resiliency across the enterprise. Maintains a working knowledge of a broad set of platforms and technologies to enable the collaborative design of business resiliency solutions. The role is typically engaged as the highest-level technology expert on a project team. Operates at an Advanced Level.


  • Partners with business units and information technology owners in the leverage of data points within Business Resiliency plans to establish resiliency requirements for in house or vendor supplied technology.
  • Responsible for analyzing and translating business, information and technical requirements for leverage in collaborative architectural planning to achieve resiliency objectives.
  • Partners with Information Systems technology teams and owners to translate resiliency requirements into executable actions
  • Recommends enterprise level business resiliency solutions that integrate across applications, systems and platforms.
  • Proposes changes in process, policy and standards as they relate technical recovery and resiliency action items
  • Researches and maintains knowledge in emerging technologies and solutions to solve business problems.
  • Viewed as a subject matter expert and critical resource for resiliency and recovery strategies.
  • Investigates, implements, and transitions new design processes relevant to the advancement of the Business Resiliency program.
  • Responsible for complying with all Company policies and standards.
  • Represents the business resiliency objectives to be achieved for technical projects of a complex or enterprise nature that require a higher level of abstract and creative solutions.
  • Participates in the development and enhancements made to the enterprise business resiliency strategy.
  • Participates in the orchestration and facilitation of technology recovery exercises
  • Collaborates with technology owners on alternate strategies for technology recovery to increase efficiency and speed at which we recover. 


  •  Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate and advocate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to provide leadership and authority through positive example, delegation, empowerment, coaching, mentoring, and cross-training.
  • Aptitude to formulate and articulate technical vision in order to anticipate and prepare for emerging systems and technology needs with the ability to understand multiple systems or technologies and how they interact.
  • Astuteness in identification and implementation of continuous process improvements.
  • Ability to take accountability and make sound architectural and strategic decisions.
  • Sound teamwork skills to build positive relationships and maintain constructive working relationships, using win-win approaches to resolve conflict.
  • Effective ability to deal with ambiguity, unexpected events, and changing business requirements; ability to juggle multiple activities, projects, and initiatives simultaneously; and ability to handle technical, political, and organizational fluctuations.

  • Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000
  • Pay commensurate with experience.
