Executes analytical and statistical functions, based on business goals and objectives, value, and available data. Executes analytical and statistical analysis and/or data mining to recommend opportunities to leverage information and minimize financial risk in order to meet the business goals and objectives. Reports on results of suggested actions and recommends actions.


  • Leads or participants in analytics initiatives that address key talent-related challenges around attraction, development, diversity, retention, and motivation.  Partners with HR and organization leaders to diagnose business needs, identify areas for improvement, and leverage data that leads to actionable workforce insights.  
  • Selects insightful and practical talent metrics based on business and HR priorities. Translates data and insights into meaningful visualizations, reports and summaries for non-technical audiences. Prepares data-driven recommendations based on a thorough understanding of the analysis.
  • Executes analytical and statistical functions and maintains data models to improve talent decisions through expanded reporting such as workforce forecasts and predictive analytics. Researches, reviews, validates and analyzes data from multiple internal and external sources.  Understands the source structures and business relevance of the data.
  • Applies judicious data governance, legal, and IT security standards to protect data and ensure data is used appropriately. Ensures the HR/Employee data domain uses consistent data element definitions.  Preserves confidentiality, maintains information quality standards, documents procedures, verifies that audit controls are being followed where applicable, and maintains awareness and adherence to BIM (Business Information Management) guidelines for all business records.
  • Mentors and provides training for other HR team members in developing talent analytic skills and applying insights identified through the analysis.


  • Experience in statistical analysis, research, data mining, and data query, including segmentation, clustering, and classification, predictive modeling
  • Knowledge and experience with various software packages
  • Good mathematical and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of data quality concepts, data management principles and data infrastructure
  • Understanding of Project Management Methodologies and Tools
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, Patriot Act and privacy, data usage laws, etc.
  • Good problem-solving abilities in order to leverage opportunities through detailed data analysis
  • Sound judgement and decision-making abilities
  • High level of integrity in dealing with highly confidential information and/or data
  • Good communication and facilitation skills and the ability to build internal and external relationships at multiple levels

  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence & analytics, statistics, data science or Industrial/Organizational Psychology
  • Experience with tools and languages such as SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Visier

  • Minimum: $54,822 MidPoint: $71,269 Maximum: $87,715
  • Pay commensurate with experience.
