We’re committed to providing world-class service to our customers, including meeting and exceeding their expectations on information security and data privacy. We’re looking for someone to build and lead our global Security and Compliance team. You will be accountable for creating and maintaining Hudl’s strategy on information security and risk management. You will also develop our plan for security and compliance improvements and oversee it’s execution. Your team will be responsible for coordinating projects to get our current systems and processes into compliance, implementing appropriate controls to keep them in compliance, conducting regular audits, and answering questions from customers about our security practices. 

Hudl has a flexible location policy. Once we can safely return to our offices, we'll leave it up to you to decide where you want to work: our Lincoln office, Omaha office, or remotely (within commuting distance).  


You will:

  • Establish and maintain global security policies, standards and guidelines and implement process and procedure to ensure an acceptable risk level is maintained. Information protection responsibilities will include network security architecture, network access and monitoring, data access and monitoring, identity and access management, employee education and awareness.
  • Establish and manage our information security and risk management strategy, inclusive of incident response policy and processes and vendor compliance policies. 
  • Ensure compliance of the information security and risk management strategy with all regulatory, contractual, and client requirements.
  • Help us anticipate future changes in regulations and customer expectations. 
  • Clarify the evolving security demands of our customers and build a plan for improvement that is aligned with business and customer value. 
  • Collaborate with our IT, Legal, Application Security and Engineering teams to establish and evolve our security practices. 
  • Collaborate with our Revenue Operations team to improve our process to answer customer questions about security topics (RFP completion, security clauses review in contracts, etc.)
  • Be the champion for a security-conscious culture.
  • Position security and compliance as a competitive advantage for the business. 

You Are:

  • Experienced with the shared security model for cloud and SaaS services and security practices in the software development lifecycle (SDLC), i.e. DevSecOps
  • Experienced at risk and compliance (PCI and GDPR in particular) management.
  • Familiar with identity and access management (IAM), and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Committed to continuous improvement. You know how to lead large-scale transformation by delivering small, frequent wins along the way. 
  • Successful at leading by influence and enjoy leading projects that require cross-team collaboration. 
  • Excellent at building concrete business cases for investments to improve security and compliance. 
  • A proven leader and manager. 
  • An excellent communicator with experience working at the executive level.
