Position Pay Range:

This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.

$83,078.00-$132,924.00

The Platform Management team is responsible for the support of AWS, pipeline automation, Elasticsearch, and Infrastructure Services in CSG’s next generation platform. Here you will have the opportunity to help us design a fully DevOps focused team using things like CI/CD pipelines, code enforcement, unit tests, etc. The team has many development projects forthcoming and would like to establish and build these practices from the ground up. We value continual learning, accountability, collaboration, and team enablement. We subscribe to best practices in automated testing and continuous integration. We are looking for someone who has demonstrated their ability to build scalable, maintainable, enterprise-grade solutions. What you will be doing: 

  • Design, develop, support, test, and debug code in an agile environment
  • Adhere to and drive enterprise standards and best practices
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and improve existing applications and systems.
  • Demonstrate technical problem-solving skills to address team’s most difficult challenges
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the team to ensure an integrated, seamless architecture
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, a commitment to excellent customer service, and teamwork
  • Evaluate new technologies and software products to determine feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities within the organization's products
  • Demonstrate active involvement in cross-team meetings as it relates to architectural and planning
  • Drive a DevOps culture change and implementation of development best practices
  • Assist in operational duties including outages as needed.
  • Working on a global team that supports 100+ AWS accounts, multiple product teams and new cloud development initiatives. 
  • Building Systems that automate existing cloud services such as building accounts, monitoring systems and other automation opportunities. 
  • Provide mentorship for junior level staff members. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field 
  • CI experience in building and testing artifacts 
  • Experience in creating pipelines (with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc) 
  • CD and/or operational experience with tools such as Rundeck/ADO/Code Deploy 
  • Experience with Shell Scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) 
  • 2-3 years of AWS experience  
  • Other Valuable Skills 
    • Elasticsearch or Elastic Cloud 
    • Microsoft SQL Server 
    • API Integration 
    • Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) 
    • Terraform
  • Self-motivated individual who works well in a team environment
