The State Regulatory Compliance Program Licensing and Reporting Analyst will be responsible for preparing and filing state license applications and renewals within the Unites States. The right candidate is a self-motivated individual that is able to effectively work and communicate collaboratively / cross-functionally with multiple teams. The right candidate must have a hands-on approach, strong management skills and attention to detail and organization.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate state prudential reporting and state license renewals for PayPal including the preparation of state license renewal forms and all required state reporting.
  • Prepare quarterly, semiannual, annual and any other miscellaneous state reports.
  • Source and provide required data for renewals and reports including:
    • Updated officer and director information
    • Executive fingerprints, notarized signatures, resumes, financial information, and other corporate material
    • Required bonds and registrations
    • Agent locations
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to source data and other requirements to fulfill reporting demands (call reports, transaction data, and compliance information).
  • Review state regulatory requirements and update PayPal procedures and calendars to ensure compliance.
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements – Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in the preparation of state regulatory reports preferred (including money transmission, gaming and lending).
  • Experience in use of Nationwide Multi-State Licensing System (“NMLS”) preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (paralegal designation or equivalent experience) preferred.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage a variety of assignments and projects with varying firm deadlines.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to engage in critical and analytical thinking, decision making, innovative problem solving, and finding solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects with competing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to change.
  • Excellent writing, planning, organizational, communication and relationship management skills.
  • Strong reputation for integrity and ability to balance business partnership with the need to exercise independence judgment and to raise issues in a timely and constructive manner.
  • High sense of urgency and the ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment as well as the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet firm deadlines.
  • The ability to interact well with internal senior management and external contacts, including regulators, is essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to identify dependencies and leverage multiple sources of information simultaneously.
