Position Pay Range:

This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.

$100,523.00-$160,837.00

Summary:

The Enterprise Application Architect is responsible for driving strategy within CSG’s enterprise application portfolio. This person has an in-depth expertise and enterprise vision that drives technical solutions in order to achieve maximum system integration and efficiencies; including technology and governance strategies, policies, and standards.

The Enterprise Application Architect defines methods/techniques in accordance with best practices and broadens industry awareness and trends. This person demonstrates accountability and integrity aligning with CSG's core values. The Enterprise Application Architect has a strategic focus with a tactical and operations awareness. This person establishes and cultivates successful relationships and mentors team members.

Position Details:

Design and develop architecture of hardware, software, and systems within CSG’s enterprise application portfolio:

  • Provide architectural framework for the integration of the applications and systems within the enterprise application portfolio
  • Provide administrative and technical support of the applications and systems within the enterprise application portfolio, both on premise and in the cloud
  • Provide assistance in resolving complex issues and determining root causes in the Corporate IT Enterprise Productivity space
  • Assist with optimization recommendations of hardware and software systems

Analyze systems and determine business requirements:

  • Provide recommendations for applications and systems as well as integration in the enterprise application portfolio per specified business requirements
  • Independently identify key issues and provide guidance on how best to address
  • Maintain in depth technical knowledge of the applications and environments in the Corporate IT Enterprise Productivity space

Create and maintain technically correct/complete documentation.

Collaborate with team members to ensure project scoping activities are aligned with architectural objectives.

Continuously develop technical subject matter expertise.

Incumbent is accountable for professional working behavior.

Employee may perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities as needed.

Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years proven expertise in business and IT architecture as well as solution design and integration
  • In-depth experience with the definition and maintenance of complex business and technical roadmaps and strategies
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise IT solutions and architecture, automation and integration concepts, guidelines, and best practices
  • Workday, Salesforce.com, Oracle Financials, ITSM solutions, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Devops, and API integrations
  • Application architecture, data architecture, integration architecture, and systems architecture
  • Ability to grasp, analyze, and develop an expert knowledge of CSG’s business, operational environments, industry, and applications
  • Skilled with the capabilities to analyze, assimilate, and translate business needs into solution options that are cost effective, efficient, and re-usable that comply with defined platform principles and standards and that enhance the business process
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems then lead a team to determine root causes and develop remediation strategies for permanent resolution
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and lead ad hoc and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to provide IT related duties after hours, on weekends, and during holidays for executive escalations, outages, emergency situations, moves, etc. as needed

Preferred Skills:

  • Operational experience with Workday, Salesforce.com, Oracle Financials, ITSM solutions, Microsoft Power Platform, or Azure Devops
  • Knowledge of Safe framework and agile methodologies

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; or equivalent work experience required
